Leanne and Thomas chose Central Park, Aveley, as the scene for their intimate family wedding. Central Park is in the heart of the Swan Valley, and is a part of a thriving suburb boasting a town centre, primary and secondary schools, and conservation wetland areas. It is located just 35 minutes from Perth… it is close to the famous Swan Valley, with more than 40 wineries, five breweries and 80 cafés and restaurants nearby. A world-class international golf resort, The Vines, is also only minutes away”. One of the stunning lakes, surrounded by natural vegetation dotted throughout the community, is in Central Park.

Leanne and Thomas met when she started work with Tom in the Eastern States. Over time their relationship developed professionally but it wasn’t until Leanne left the workplace, that their private relationship developed. After a move to Perth, they have built their life here together with new friends, camping and dog-sled sports. They have shared in their joys together and supported each other in times of sadness.

Thomas managed to overcome his nerves after a romantic dinner. He proposed to Leanne during a walk along the beach. They approached me to be their celebrant and together, we designed a service that included their three children, family and friends. They married at Central Park, Aveley on 6^th December 2014. Although it was a hot day, there was a beautiful breeze that cooled things down. Leanne and Thomas made their own archway and also provided a table full of photos to remember the loved ones that could not be present on the day. A few tears, some laughter and lots of hugs later, the couple left in their stretch limo to party!
