Naming Ceremonies

Bringing a new life into the world is a wonderful and exciting time to be celebrated. Traditionally a Christening was held in Church. Nowadays many people do not need the religious input and a Naming Ceremony has become more common.

In addition to naming a newborn child, Naming Ceremonies can also be used to welcome a child into a new family, to blend two existing families, or to proclaim the vows that a parent or guardian makes to a child. A naming Ceremony can also be held after a Marriage Ceremony to signify the beginning of a new family.

Naming Ceremonies are not necessarily restricted to babies and children: adults, who wish a name change after divorce or death of a spouse, can also celebrate this rite of passage with a Naming Ceremony.
Together we can design a ceremony that proclaims your hopes and desires. Including significant others such Godparents, Grandparents or friends to be a mentor to the child / children, or partners can be celebrated.

All Naming Ceremonies will be commemorated with a Presentation Certificate.
