Mundaring Weir Hotel is a place full of history and Alison and Scott chose it as the venue to create their own little piece of history.

Two weeks after their first date, Scott and Alison decided that they had a lot in common – they both own Chihuahuas for example – and they chose to take their internet dating relationship further! Although Scott’s job means that he is away for long periods of time, they share the common challenge of treating each return as a first date. They share a sense of humour, love the same music and hobbies and have a common goal of travel.

Scott’s attempt at a romantic proposal, at one of their favourite spots, backfired when Alison was busy and refused to go with him. He was forced to propose right there in their living room. Nevertheless, Alison accepted and they married on Saturday 22nd November 2014 at the beautiful Mundaring Weir Hotel, Perth. We loved their use of the patterned carpets and the beautiful old trees behind the ceremonial area.

Unfortunately the GoPro camera batteries ran out just as the ceremony was about to start, so we missed out on the photos!! We were provided with a few more by Mark Michael Photography with whom we have been privileged to work several times since.

We wish them both a long and happy life together.
