When looking for a venue in the Swan Valley, Shannon and Chris chose Upper Reach Winery for their wedding.

When working together in the Long Islands Resort in the Whitsundays a chance meeting resulted in Shannon and Chris recognising various attributes that they liked in each other such as Chris’s smiley face and Shannon’s kindness.

They have since learnt to trust each other with Shannon moving from Queensland to live here in Perth. One fine evening in 2011 during a romantic dinner, Chris presented Shannon with an engagement ring and so, with their friendship and love developing and growing in them, they joined in marriage at Upper Reach Winery, Perth. They were piped  in by a Scottish piper on his bagpipes which created a very special moment, and a special Candle lighting ceremony brought memories of loved ones far and wide to the fore.
